Dear Customer,

Your HP Vertica OnDemand database cluster is ready to use.

There are two ways to access HP Vertica Management Console (MC) to manage your cluster:

1. Go to this URL:

2. Go to pronq.com > My Account > Launch

NOTE: When you connect to the MC URL, ignore any warnings about reaching an unsafe page. This is expected.

3. Connect to your database cluster host using the vsql client, or with applications using industry-standard client drivers (ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET) such as DBVisualizer, Squirrel SQL, Tableau, and more. You cannot directly SSH into a Vertica OnDemand cluster.

4. You can upload your data from HP Cloud Object Storage (see http://www.hpcloud.com/products-services/object-storage for more information), SFTP server or your existing Amazon S3 account

We encourage you to go to horizon.hpcloud.com and sign up for HP Cloud Storage . For security you will get SMS text and phone call verification. Next, activate object storage from services menu and use the documented API to get your data loaded. (http://docs.hpcloud.com/api/object-storage/).
