Loading Data Guideにはインタラクティブなキャラクタベースのフロントエンドユーティリティである vsqlかJDBCドライバまたは ODBCドライバを使うアプリケーションから COPYステートメントを用いて HP Helion Public Cloud Object Storage *3のオブジェクト、Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3)のオブジェクト、SFTPサーバ*4に putしたファイル、そしてローカルマシンの標準入力またはファイルのいずれかから HP Vertica OnDemandのデータベース・インスタンスへデータをバルク・ロードする方法が書かれています。
